As a result of the pandemic, the workforce world has noticed an uptick of what they call “boomerang employees.” This is defined as employees who quit their jobs to find new career opportunities during the pandemic, who now want to return to their former place of work.

Cynthia Meason, author for Gobankingrates.com, recently interview business professionals on what advice they had to give to boomerang employees when they are thinking about returning to their previous workplace. “Always keeping in contact with former employers and not burning bridges is a major factor when thinking about returning to your previous workplace,” said our CEO, Jim Sullivan. “This will not only help you to ease back in but will also make it easier for employers to remember who you were, which increases your chances of being rehired.
