JOB SUMMARY
The Concrete Production Worker makes quality concrete products in a safe and timely manner by operating different sizes of vibrating tables, forms, and various other pieces of equipment. This position follows the life cycle of the product from start to finish, including finishing and assembly, coating, racking and other processing tasks.
SALARY
$19-$22.50 depending on experience
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrates willingness to take direction and follow instructions.
- Adheres to schedule and maintains regular attendance.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Performs a variety of production duties including but not limited to: setting up forms, removing excess concrete, and cleaning forms.
- Reads production drawings and sets up the form as indicated in the production drawing.
- Places concrete into the forms; consolidates concrete in accordance with the mix design.
- Finishes concrete with various floats and other concrete tools.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with precast concrete production or concrete construction required
- Ability to read and interpret production drawings
- Proficient in utilizing tape measures and basic hand tools including, but not limited to trowels, hammers, wrenches, chisels, power tools, etc.
