Maintenance Technician

Utilizing a variety of tools, and repairs and performing preventative maintenance to equipment throughout the plant and building as required by company guidelines. Inspects equipment to ensure it is in good working order; replaces damaged parts of equipment with new parts; orders parts and installs appropriate parts to machinery; welds parts to equipment during repairs or installations as needed.

Performs electrical repairs and troubleshooting up to 480 volts.

Reads drawings and recognizes whether the cranes are set up properly; sets up the form as indicated in the production drawing; makes indicated modifications to the set-up as necessary.

Completes welding, assembles hydraulic cranes, and troubleshoots as needed.

Collects and discards worn machine parts; cleans machines and machine parts using cleaning solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other equipment; removes hardened material from machines or machine parts using abrasives, power and hand tools, sledgehammers, or other equipment; measures, mixes, prepares, and tests chemical solutions used to clean or repair machinery and equipment.
