JOB SUMMARY
Production Assemblers perform the various assembly operations required to construct custom seating products used in the turf industry.
SALARY
Seats Incorporated offers an hourly wage starting at $17.00 for first shift. There is an opportunity for progressive increases starting after 2 months and every 6 months afterward based on performance to a maximum of $18.50.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Place parts in specified sequence using bolts, clips, screws, staples glues/cements.
- Use air and battery powered tools to complete assemblies according to work instructions.
- Packaging completed seats.
- Rotate to different workstations as production needs require.
- Flexible in work assignments, as different seating models require different assembly operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions
- Ability to navigate computer systems to look up written work instructions, cross reference part numbers, check inventory, and reference production tables
