JCSI vs. Agencies“JCSI can get very close to our business. That’s the challenge of working with agencies, it takes them so long to really understand our business. With hiring managers especially, but with recruiters as well, we want to be working with someone that we feel really understands our businesses, our needs, the culture, and the organization as a whole. By engaging JCSI, they’re with us for the long haul, and they can come in-house and really get a good understanding of all those things, versus someone coming in, working on one assignment, getting lucky, and you may not work with them again.”
JCSI Fee Structure“Having worked in the agency business and having worked with lots of agencies that retain a contingency, I believe that the hourly fee really keeps JCSI focused, accountable, and keeps them engaged. If there’s a contingency or a success fee, sometimes agencies aren’t as bought into the process, so I think JCSI’s process really works well for us. To me, it’s money well spent.”
Results“In general, I think we got 27 hires to date from JCSI. That’s pretty significant. In terms of the cost-per-hire, it was very favorable. It was definitely more favorable than engaging more expensive resources, like an agency, or buying more things like job boards that have a high up-front cost with no guarantees. In terms of return on investment, I’ve always believed it’s a good one. We saw results. We saw candidates, we saw hires, and good quality operational support. We had a good sense of how they were going about the process of finding candidates.“
