College recruiting isn’t just about hosting on-campus job fairs anymore. Social networking has swiftly become the most popular method of communication in the college community and it doesn’t stop there – more and more companies are incorporating this trend into their college recruitment efforts and it’s paying off.

When engaging in our college recruitment projects, JCSI employs our proven techniques we utilize in conventional recruiting with the added dimensions of our Interview Day service offerings.

  • Speak with recent post-graduation hires within your organization to gain strategic insight.
  • University/College Selection & Establishing Relationships.
  • Identify institutions that have educational programs which are in line with your organizational needs.
  • Identify your current associates who are alumni or have affiliations with selected institutions.
  • Establish relationships with Department Heads of applicable schools (i.e. Contact professors, graduation assistants, and other teaching team members).
  • Contact club and association leads (i.e. Physics or Math Clubs).
  • Contact Alumni Organizations (i.e. Fraternities, sororities, etc.)
  • Develop a presence in the communities where they participate.
  • Create videos and podcasts of job postings and distribute current career videos and content in relevant communities via tools such as YouTube.
  • Create events and distribute the assets in a variety of formats popular with this audience via tools such as iTunes, Facebook, and Twitter.
  • Communications outreach to promote these assets across platforms and networks via Jobsite Forums.
  • Contact students and make formal introduction.
  • Prequalify all potential college candidates, rate their individual skill levels, and gauge their overall interest in the opportunity with your organization.
  • Schedule a specific time for the students to meet with a representative from your organization, or a JCSI representative, at the next College Fair or invite them to an Interview Day.
