JCSI Acts of Kindness #45--Animal Rescue
June 3rd, 2018
As part of JCSI's expanded health and wellness program, employees are sharing their Acts of Kindness that are making a positive difference in our communities. At last check, the list was up to 45 different acts or contributions to worthy causes. These acts span the gamut from serving meals at a homeless shelter and participating in community clean-up days to raising $2,500 for the Congenital Heart Walk.
June kicked off with Colleen leading a JCSI collection of items for the Cenla Alliance for Animals Rescue, a program to find loving families to adopt homeless dogs that are rescued from kill shelters. Colleen first learned about the program through her own adoption experience last summer when she took home her own very special new friend, Luna (see photo)! In addition to collecting supplies for the program, Colleen volunteered at the Alliance’s adoption event in Rhode Island last weekend. In all, 358 dogs found families that day!
Special thanks to JCSI employees who continue to make a positive difference, not only in the services and great candidates we find for our clients but in every day “Acts of Kindness” we contribute to our world!
