Wellness Program Features Healthy Lunches

As part of April's monthly activities to support the JCSI Wellness Program for employees, today’s Salad Bar Lunch was a great success! Staff members chose some of their favorite salad fixings to share, and each employee concocted their own mix of greens and colorful fruits and vegetables to make a nutritious and delicious lunch. The shared items included lettuce, kale, shredded carrots, chick peas, chicken, eggs (from Mel’s chickens), red onion, feta cheese, olives, pecans, strawberries, bacon, and a variety of dressings.
Monthly potluck meals with healthy themes are just one aspect of the new program. This one has the added benefit of being fun as well as good for you--Bon Appetit!
