Great Post Laura! I think leaving that lasting impression is key strategy for companies to consider going into a career fair. One of the most inventive give-a-ways I saw was a tech company that selectively gave out USB Flash Drives to potential applicants who fit the criteria they were looking for and applied. The USB drive was not only emblazoned with the company logo but contained a quick video talking about the culture of the company. Even if the college student wasn't hired, it was a give-a-way that provided value as a brand branding tool for the company beyond the career fair and any hiring done at the fair.
