Social Media Workshop at the SHRM Staffing Conference

SHRM Staffing ConferenceJCSI will participate in the SHRM Staffing Conference again this year.  This year, the event will be at the Disney Swan and Dolphin resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL on April 26-27. This is one of our favorite events of the year and we are looking forward to something special this year.  Attendee pre-registrations are way up over where they were last year and the scheduled sessions cover some emerging technology practices this year.

To add to the conference, JCSI will be hosting another Social Media Strategy Workshop on the exhibit floor.   This is highly-informative 20 minute session complements the topics covered during the conference sessions and provides participants with an action plan they can take back to their team.

The topic will be social media, but this workshop will show companies how it is being used to prepare for churn and recruit passive candidates.  The unpredictable nature of churn is one of the most important issues facing recruiters today. Fortunately, social media is one of the best tools you have to cultivate relationships with passive candidates so you can respond quickly to the sudden job openings that will hit your company.

If you are tired of the hype surrounding social media and you want to see how it can improve your recruitment practice today, then this is a workshop you won’t want to miss.  JCSI has been working with social media for years and we’ve developed a process that offers a simple strategy to get you started.  We realize that you may not have the budget, staff or executive buy-in to implement a large-scale strategy now, so we’ve developed a plan you can roll out in stages.

Join us for this free workshop on the exhibit floor to learn:

  • What social media is good at and where it falls short
  • How it can integrate with your other sourcing tools
  • How to use each tool and how to connect them with an integrated strategy
  • How it can help you prepare for employee turnover and attract passive candidates

Sessions will be held at 10am, 1:30 and 5pm at JCSI’s booth #209/211

We know you’ll be busy at the conference, so we are keeping these to 20 minutes and we’ve scheduled them during each of the session breaks. (Don’t worry, we’ll have snacks and beverages on hand)

Contact me to reserve your place now.  All participants to register in advance will receive a social media action plan and several resources to help you sell the strategy within your organization.
