A great opportunity for an outgoing individual to be part of an upbeat recruiting team, JCSI is looking for a Recruiting Consultant to assist with networking, relationship building, and reaching out to potential applicants on behalf of our clients. Recruiting Consultants initiate direct contact with candidates, market the benefits of the role and the company, and prequalify interested applicants.

Due to the range of positions and industries, your day will be spent on a variety of interesting and challenging activities that primarily involve interaction with candidates via telephone and email, as well as outreach through social media. JCSI will provide you with a pipeline of qualified candidates and a step-by-step marketing campaign. Your focus will be communicating and developing relationships with sourced candidates to generate interest in the opportunity and conduct prequalification interviews.

The Recruiting Consultant reports to the Director of Recruitment Services. All objectives align with JCSI’s core business values of teamwork, trust, accountability, and respect.

Requirements

Skills and Experience:

  • Education of a BS/BA degree or equivalent

  • 0-2 years of successful recruiting, sales, customer service experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with MS office applications

  • Strong multi-tasking ability

  • Ability to work with minimum supervision, both as a team member and as an individual contributor.

 

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with applicant tracking software such as (PC Recruiter, Recruit Max.)

  • Knowledge of IT terminology
