In order for a company to plan for accelerated growth they must be conscious of financial health as well as the processes required to sustain a manageable level of momentum. Jim Sullivan saw both abilities in Mark O’Brien. Immediately upon arriving at JCSI, Mark was able to take his years of banking, finance, and operations experience and leverage it to assist in the growth of the company.
Mark made an immediate impact on the organization using his degree in Human Resources coupled with his operational skills gained in the financial sector to further solidify JCSI’s corporate structure. Furthermore his work with State Street, Fidelity Investments, and Investors Bank and Trust prepared him for the management and systems conversion responsibilities he would assume as the company grew. Today as the CFO, in addition to his financial responsibilities, Mark manages the systems, reporting, and HR departments and continues to influence the evolution of JCSI.
