Our CEO, Jim Sullivan, entered the recruitment field working for Venture Networks, while still  attending Merrimack College. Always one for organizing groups and building relationships, Jim found that recruiting came naturally and after graduation, decided to continue exploring what the recruitment industry had to offer. For the next several years Jim worked in every facet of recruiting from contract and contingency recruiter to on-staff corporate recruiter. From this experience he gained a big picture view of the industry that would serve him well when the doors of JCSI opened in January of 2000.

When Jim decided to start JCSI it was clear that in order for the company to enjoy long term success he was going to need to build a team that was willing to face a challenge head on. From his years in recruiting, he knew that there was a need for a recruitment model that took the best of the options currently available while minimizing some of the roadblocks that often led to longer time-to-fill and higher cost-per-hire. His goal was to isolate that model and deliver a new and efficient recruitment option for companies seeking a recruiting partner who understood their organization’s challenges and goals —fact based recruitment and consulting solution.

In 2008 Jim was a recipient of Worcester Business Journal’s 40 under Forty and JCSI was honored as the #5 Top Growing Privately Held company—clear indication that the JCSI vision is being realized.
